I’ve just finished episode 1...so far, I’ve double checked that our front door is locked. I’m going to hunt out a small crucifix necklace I received many moons ago as a gift. I actually started wondering about garlic. I know this is daft, but I actually feel quite scared. Episode 2 starts shortly. I’m not sure I’m brave enough 😆

Anyone else find it terrifying?

Ha. Isn't the point to scare yoyrself a bit silly. Enjoy episode 2.

watch it during the day.

DieSchottin93 · 02/01/2020 20:51

The trailer was scary enough for me! Blush Doesn't look like my cup of tea at all.

I really enjoyed it - and saw the comedy.

"You're a monster "
"And you're a lawyer, nobody's perfect "

😂

It’s too ridiculously, fabulously campy to be scary!

edwinbear · 02/01/2020 20:52

I loved it last night, waiting for tonight’s to start!

Newmetoday · 02/01/2020 20:52

If you’re scared of it then you obviously don’t watch proper horrors. It’s nowhere near scary.

CrazyKitkatLady · 02/01/2020 20:52

It definitely featured in my dreams last night, very scary, especially for bbc. I’ll be watching episode 2 in a minute though... I need to find out what happens!

Cherrysoup · 02/01/2020 20:53

I adore Claes Bang. His English accent is fabulous!

SnorkMaiden81 · 02/01/2020 20:54

I thought Worzel Gummidge was scarier tbh.

PhonicTheHedgehog · 02/01/2020 20:55

It frightened me although I also found it funny. The fright one though and I had to turn it off.
What’s with the title music though? Couldn’t they afford something new? It sounds just like Sherlock. I was looking forward to some modern goth! It didn’t have to be full on Sisters!

goose1964 · 02/01/2020 21:02

I found the book scary enough. I'd rather watch Carl's Jugulm if that was made.

Wandaneedsnewwindows · 02/01/2020 21:04

I enjoyed reading the original Bram Stoker book... this series so far has gone totally off course. I know DH is going to ask what I’m hunting for. I need the necklace before I watch episode 2!!

Dracula reminds me of David Walliams a bit! Not very scary but quite gory in places

missyB1 · 02/01/2020 21:25

I’m watching it now, yes it’s scary!!

PhonicTheHedgehog · 02/01/2020 21:43

Won!

Faircastle · 02/01/2020 21:49

I found it mildly entertaining. It was more funny than scary.
