I’ve still got w cough. Think it’s possibly a new one though.
Slight headache. Slight fever. Achey. But OMG every time I move my head and eyes j get such a strange sensation. Like off balance for few moments. This eye thing been going on for a week or two but today seem to have peaked.

Out of hours isn’t answering. I’ll call Gp tomorrow. But I have work too. Do you think it’s labrybthitis or similar.

I had EXACTLY the same thing last week. Cough had gone on for about 2 weeks and then as it started to get better, I start getting these horrible dizzy/sick spells which freaked me out so much. It cleared up in a few days and I put it down to some kind of residual inner ear infection after the cold/flu I was getting over but yeesht, it was horrible.

Viral labyrinthitis

Agree it's viral labyrinthitis. It's like being drunk without the fun. Really weird

Averyyounggrandmaofsix · 29/12/2019 17:46

It's horrible isn't it? It's an absolute epidemic!

Coughisoff · 29/12/2019 18:13

Oh very funny Hmm

If it doesn't resolve in a week or so speak to your GP. I have Ménière's disease which was misdiagnosed as labyrinthitis for almost a year. It is more likely to be labyrinthitis though, especially after a virus.
