about ivy

I live in a terraced house. My next door neighbour rents her house.

She has ivy growing up the front of her house which is now growing on mine.

I suppose I’m looking for advice here on what to do about it. I don’t want this on my house but I’m not sure if it’s her responsibility to keep it maintained and within the confines of her house?

Would appreciate some advice. WIBU to tell her to keep it under control?

I would just remove it from my house, cut it back to hers. If the subject comes up just say you are very concerned abour ivy on brickworkas it can cause so much damage and damp. I wouldnt try and make her cut it back personally. (Or you could sneakily squirt it wit glyphosate)
