I cook most of the time for my dh and me. My dh cooks occasionally. I don't mind, as I prefer it that way. Also, when he cooks, it's always such a song and dance - he never knows where anything is, and seems incapable of cooking anything simple. And never thinks of vegetables, apart from frozen peas.
So far, so good.
But when we talk to other people about cooking, you'd think he cooked all the time. I know it's not an enormous deal, but it really bugs me.

I get you, my dh tells people he cooks too. He doesn’t, he opens jars. And jars that I’ve bought as I know if he opened the cupboard and it only contained actual ingredients that I actually ‘cook’ with, he wouldn’t cook anything.

Mine too. He cooks from the freezer aisle, I cook from scratch.
Yet he tells people he's just such a fab cook. It's all bollocks and I say so now in front of whoever hes lying to.

Get him to cook as much as he claims to.
