We went on a lovely holiday this year...dp printed out the holiday photos. He also got a nice album to put them in but ran out of time to put them in the album so i will do that.
Thoughtful or just holiday snaps?
He got me some earrings...lovely but i already have a virtually identical pair which he got me a few years ago. I am very grateful so why do i feel a bit sad?

It's thoughtful (no idea why you would feel sad??)

But don't put the photos in yourself just because he ran out of time.

He has all year to put them in, himself.

Oh I really wanted it to be a Peloton bike!!

Is he, by any chance, the kind of bloke who asks you to iron his shirt because he "ran out of time" (air quotation marks) to do it himself?

Those presents are kind of thoughtful, but poorly executed. Printing off holiday snaps for an album = thoughtful. Not being arsed to put them in the album yourself and asking the recipient to do it = lazy and inconsiderate.

Picking out a lovely pair of earrings you really like = thoughtful. Making virtually identical earrings his default gift forever more = inconsiderate.
