Some holiday photos from a nice holiday we had this year...from dp...and an album but most of the photos not put in....

So is this thoughtful...or just holiday photos?

Am I being unreasonable?

Hmmm, did they fall out or had he just not bothered to put them in?
If the former I think it's a lovely thoughtful gift, if the latter, similar but he's lazy.

Did you already have the photos? Why didn’t he put them in the album?

I like the premise, but the execution sounds a bit lackadaisical. Was he rushed?

I hate presents that confer an obligation on me before it’s usable ( in your case to put the photos in). My dsis is guilty of this- buys the kids things like paintings on rolled canvases on her travels, hands them over and then says ‘mummy can get them framed for you’ [silent fume] 😆

Hmm i think it's subjective, surely all his done is print your own photos you already had and then buy a photo album, but not bother with even putting them in it Confused. If it's the only gift it is underwhelming.

Might have been sweet if he'd made the effort with the album or had a photo book printed even, if you're into that (I wouldn't be but would appreciate the sentiment)

I would love for my husband to do something so thoughtful! So I’m going to say yabu 🙈

It’s a gift I’ve done for my husband, but more in the manner of a large framed photograph for his office, and he is always thrilled to bits. I would be similarly happy to receive such a gift, but presentation counts for a lot.

Sounds a bit half arsed to me.

Like he got bored half way through.
