I very rarely drink. last night I decided I wanted a good time and had way more than I should have.

Today though I am really paying for it. I'm shaking, sweating and feel so sick. I can't even keep water down Sad I never want to feel like this.

Give me your best hangover cures! I'll try anything just so I don't feel this bloody bad.

mine is about ten cans of fizzy pop, a bottle of apple juice, a greggs buffet, and snoozing all day. my boyfriend just drinks loads of water and goes for a run. i definitely prefer my method! 😂

Op this was me yesterday morning! Oops. Had a peppermint tea, napped for an hour and just powered through as I didn’t want to ruin anyone else’s day. Felt fine at around 10am. NOT drinking again! I know you said you’re not keeping anything down but try small sips of fizzy water? A banana is meant to be good for a hangover. Do you have to do anything this afternoon? Can you sleep it off?

Painkillers, lots of water and back to sleep. Then a banana milkshake, a big poo and a soak in the bath always does it for me 😁

Oh dear that sounds like a 10 on the hangover scale! Sorry to say if you cant keep anything down you have alcohol poisoning and all you can do is lie down in a dark room and look forward to waking up tomorrow feeling vaguely human again Flowers
Small sips of water and a bacon sandwich as soon as you can bear eating. And a walk in the fresh air.

You need sleep. If a shag is available that usually helps.

I always think try and get as much down you as possible- I always like a McDonald’s burger, chips and a sprite/oasis or alternatively lots of salt and vinegar crisps and a coke (not diet or zero or anything). If you bring it back up you’ll probably feel better for it.

@BentNeckLady KFC sounds amazing. Not sure I'm in a fit state to drive though Sad

Are you alone or do you have a compassionate other half to fetch you things and be sympathetic

Report

ccx1 · 26/12/2019 15:55

@bigchris Have DP but he's not talking to me atm. He's very unsympathetic

Time.
Hope you dont get the fear! That always stops me from over indulging. The horrors and anxiety are just too awful for me

I was like this this morning. Luckily I have a very sympathetic DP who bought me painkillers, lemonade and took the kids downstairs so I could sleep it off.

@ccx1 hope you're feeling better today

Bluesheep8 · 27/12/2019 08:59

Porridge. It's having the horrors and anxiety that make you feel so much worse.
