How do you feel, what is your song?

I've split with my husband this year and David Essex 'Winters Tale' keeps looping on my Christmas Cd in the car. It's the line 'why should the world take notice of one more love that's failed' line that gets me.
I'll get over it- always do; and the CD will soon be relegated to the boxroom until next Christmas.

Christmas carols always make me well up - but that’s more of a weirdly pleasurable, it’s all so lovely lump in my throat.

But the pretenders 2000 miles is making me think of my darling father who died three years ago now. It’s that opening line “ he’s gone...” . I’ve had a lovely Christmas and know how lucky I am to have had such a wonderful father, but I do miss him.
