I bought a Lidl Mississippi mud pie for Christmas dessert. Stupidly put it in the fridge when it should have went in the freezer. This was on Sunday. I've just realised my error now! Anyway it says on the package defrost at room temperature or in fridge for 24 hours, discard 24 hours after being defrosted. Do not refreeze. I'm wondering would it be a terrible idea to pop it back in the freezer now and defrost again tomorrow lunch for the evening?? It's smells and looks fine 🤦
