Travel destinations in May...

I know I’m being U but would love to put the feelers out for advice...

I am planning to book a surprise trip for DH and our DD (1 in early March).

Ideally travelling in Early April, 1 week - 10 days. Any recommendations for places - long or short haul v welcome...

I meant to type April/May in the title!!!

Greek islands in May

Riviera Maya will be nice in May, or Cyprus or Turkey

Madeira is perfect in May. Not too hot, and utterly beautiful.

Italy is lovely then. What other things would you like to have or do on the holiday - beach or pool, sights, gardens, etc?

My ds is 18 months have been asking around was told to look at Tui family life/magic life. Specifically recommended were:
Avenida suites
Binimar
Barcelo fuertaventure
Fantasia bahia

My family spent 10 days in Ukraine last April - it was a fascinating place. 4 days in Kiev, a day trip to Chernobyl, 2 days in Lviv, 3 days in Odesa.

Another year we went to Iceland that time of year which was absolutely incredible. It's one of my favourite countries I've ever been to - the Blue Lagoon, waterfalls galore, a boat trip on a glacier lagoon, climbing an extinct volcano etc.

Easter in Greece would be lovely- maybe chose Crete as the weather can be iffy. The spring flowers are stunning and the Greeks really celebrate Easter
