AIBU my BF just asked if I wanted some Weetabix, to which I replied yes.

He came back to bed with the following...

Weetabix and tea for me
Frosties and tea for him

I forgot we had Frosties 😑 AIBU to expect DF to tell me we had Frosties and ask if i wanted them or Weetabix?

He plainly wants to keep the Frosties for his own personal use. In my world, he would be welcome to them, and neither of those things is worthy of the name breakfast.

dancemom · 23/12/2019 10:56

I just had a chocolate orange for breakfast

danmthatonestakentryanotheer · 23/12/2019 11:09

Return all his presents and cancel Christmas...that'll teach him. Grin

ThePants999 · 23/12/2019 11:12

Depends whether you have form for preferring Frosties.

Princessfaffalot · 23/12/2019 11:13

I had two mince pies for breakfast....

Rosielily · 23/12/2019 11:13

Did he put the cream from the top of the milk on his Frosties too........ Shock

thenightsky · 23/12/2019 11:15

I had two cups of tea and half a tube of pringles. I also had a satsuma for balance.

Instatwat · 23/12/2019 11:17

I’d be raging!

SheChoseDown · 23/12/2019 11:20

What a turd!!!!!!
I want a chocolate orange for brekkie

maddiemookins16mum · 23/12/2019 11:29

Did he put sugar on his Frosties too??

ZaraW · 23/12/2019 11:34

Frosties are vile give me Weetabix any day.

nornironrock · 23/12/2019 11:50

That's well funny...

Perhaps there was only one portion of Frosties left?

Also, if you're going to buy Weetabix - you've got what you deserved. Unless, of course, the shop had entirely run out of Crunchy Nut Cornflakes????

P1nkHeartLovesCake · 23/12/2019 11:51

Well you went shopping and got the sawdust bricks so you have to eat them......

SunshineAngel · 23/12/2019 12:08

Ha ha, I do this when I'm going through breakfast options with my partner. I love my chocolate weetabix minis, so if there's not enough for two portions I'll handily leave it out of the list he's offered. At least I make him breakfast!! :D

Nottobesoldseparately · 23/12/2019 13:04

If we were talking crunchy nut cornflakes then we'd have a problem.

But Frosties or Weetabix??? You both need to up your game!!!

Greenkit · 23/12/2019 14:47

Absolutely laughing our asses off at the responses.

For clarification it was a brand new unopened box of Frosties.

DP, in his defence is saying, he has only ever known me to eat Weetabix AND he did bring me breakfast

Yabu. Frosties are gross.

WakeyShakey · 23/12/2019 15:30

OP you should have stabbed him in the eye with your spoon and eaten the frosties while he staggered round the room looking for his eyeball.
Does he have form for being a breakfast control freak?
If I were you I would get my ducks in a row, pack his stuff and change the locks before seeing a solicitor about a divorce in a free thirty minute consultation.
And that will bloody learn him!

UtterlyUnimaginativeUsername · 23/12/2019 16:55

I always have a chocolate orange for breakfast on christmas day.

In bed, while the kids open their stockings.

It's the law.

Greenkit · 24/12/2019 09:35

Today he has redeemed himself...

Bacon sandwich and a cuppa

All is forgiven
