Seriously, what the actual fuck? I haven't done anything to it, I literally rolled over in bed this morning and then all of a sudden couldn't fucking take a proper normal breath - it's like a cramp on the left side of my back and fucking breathing makes it worse. Couldn't stand up without nausea and dizziness although I can stand now after taking an Aleve (naproxen). I can't sit or lie comfortably, and breathing not fully comfortable.

Going to urgent care this afternoon but fucking hell am so pissed off.

Am so FUCKED OFF we have cinema plans tonight which I don't think we'll make, and I was supposed to be volunteering delivering food for Christmas tomorrow, and now I'll need to let them down. I am so frustrated I am so sick and tired of constant shit happening to my body. I have chronic shoulder pain already which has just started to improve with new thyroid medication.

Those of you who pulled back muscles (I think this is what I've done somehow) what helped? How do I fix this?

no advice, but hope you feel better soon.

I seen an osteopath.
First appointment £58
Every other appointment £45
So it’s costly but they sorted it in 3 weeks.

Hopefully it’s just back pain and not vitamin D or Iron deficiency. My thyroid issues co-exist with severe Vit D and Iron deficiency and I get neck and shoulder pain with mine that’s so crippling it often feels like I’m dying - had to go to A&E every time it happens.

Regular pain relief, keep moving keep taking deep breaths periodically.
Ice pack (protect your skin from the ice) x 24 hours then hot water bottle.
Above all, keep moving.
Do not take to your bed.
All the above assumes you are usually relatively fit and well.
Get well soon.

I fully sympathise OP I have done this exact thing! Had physio for my PGP and it has made me sleep funny, woke up could barely move. Either trapped or pulled something under my shoulder. It’s really slowly getting better, I find the ice helps more than pain killers but I suppose it depends on the route cause of your pain

Hugs for you OP what a nuisance!

A week or so ago I suddenly developed really bad lower back pain and it turned out to be shingles - spots appeared a couple of days later.

Well, urgent care sending me to the emergency room, as question over a clot or a kidney infection/ stone. Now I'm terrified. I have health anxiety (fine day to day, bad when I have a potential serious issue) and this has kicked it all up. I feel almost disembodied with terror at the thought of having a clot, I can't take blood thinners as I have diabetic retinopathy and thinners will make my eyes bleed and bleed.
