To be worried about him.

My husband was out with 12 work colleagues for a work lunch. He messaged me at half 5 to say they were finished lunch and moving to the bar. He said he wasn't drinking and he was leaving soon. (He works away and stays in a house we own in that city) He isn't there I can see that from security cameras. I haven't heard from him since. I have messaged him and heard nothing. I'm worried something has happened to him. It's not like him to not at least send a message.
AIBU to be worried? What would you do?

Have you tried calling him?

morningcuppatea · 20/12/2019 00:41

I would be worried too but there could be all sorts of explanations as to why he hasn't been in touch or gone home yet.

Are you sure he wouldn't have changed his mind and started drinking? Is it very out of character for him not to keep in touch?

ihateryansworld · 20/12/2019 00:47

It is out of character. Even if he changed his mind to have a drink he would usually even send a message.

I messaged and called no answer.

Haggisfish · 20/12/2019 00:50

Yes candying find any of them on Facebook or WhatsApp?

ihateryansworld · 20/12/2019 00:55

He has just messaged. He's in a different bar now. He decided to stay on.

I'm so fucking pissed off he didn't let me know. I'm wide awake now with no sign of sleep and I have to get up in 5 hours with the kids!

Hope you managed to get some sleep, glad he's ok but they can be so inconsiderate, unfortunately this kind of thing doesn't surprise me from my H anymore!

Thanks morningcuppatea
Yea I got about 3-4 hours in the end. My own bad temper kept me awake. He's getting an earful when he comes home today lol.
