Hi i started a great job 6 months ago. Its a small team of 5 and almost straight away I noticed the clique between 3 of them. Real mean girls kind of stuff..purposefully not inviting myself and another lady out on work social nights..reporting me to the manager for outrageous lies..such as telling the manager I had been saying awful things about her and behaving in an unprofessional manner. Anyone who knows me knows I was chuffed to bits to get this job and I would never ever jeopardise my position! Then the reporting got more serious and emails were sent to manager saying I was making huge serious mistakes.. bizarrely the manager totally believed it all until I insisted on proving these were all lies but its like a seed had been sewn and things have gradually deteriorated between us. I was devastated and started writing a work diary as more and more things have been happening and the manager seems to now have it in for me and literally gaslight me daily..telling me to do something and then asking me why I have done it as I "wasnt supposed to do it" this has really messed with my head and I am in tears daily. Do they just not like me and want me out so I should leave quietly or do I start to report all this to HR and fight to keep my job? To be honest I never want to see any of them again after the crap they put me through today. Thanks for any advice.
