To think my 5 year old hates me?

My DD is 5 and loves nothing more than to hit, kick, bite and head butt me. She laughs when she does it and it always seems to be seeking a reaction. I do a firm "No ... that hurts and makes mummy sad" then immediately walk away/stop what we are doing. It's only me she does it too. I can't help feel she is doing it deliberately to hurt me?

Of course she doesn't hate you!
She loves you unconditionally.
It could be behaviour she's seen at school?by not reacting you are doing the right thing.hopefully it is just a phase.
But she will always love you.🌻🌻

When my nearly five year old laughs when she knows she's doing wrong It's an attention thing! She doesn't hurt me. But she will try and defy me to get a reaction. Especially if I'm trying to get things done at home. She will smirk when I'm shouting. Then I realise no matter how mad I get she won't stop. I try handle it differently now. I'm firm and fair. I try spend abit of time with her. She was like this on Saturday. Annoying me and her dad being silly. I had to be a boring mum as I sorted her room and was trying to wrap things for Christmas. Anyway I took her to her room and we played a game together, read some books and built a house with stickle bricks. She was an angel for me!
