Treated myself to a packet of wotsits today.
Looked forward to them all morning.
Sat down at lunch time only to find that wotsits have shrunk drastically and now about the size of a niknak.

I was shocked and horrified.

Colleague suggested I take a photo and complain.
Should I have complained?

Teeny tiny wotsits.....like dolly's wotsits.....

Winterdaysarehere · 18/12/2019 17:56

Maybe call them' What's this'? instead!!

Disfordarkchocolate · 18/12/2019 17:56
  1. Where is the picture?

  2. I point this sort of thing out to my husband once a week, he never believes me.

TheElfFellOffTheShelf · 18/12/2019 17:57

Yanbu, btw. How can you crunch along as you pull them into your mouth if they're tiny? Try supermarkets' own brands and see if they're better.

Myusername101 · 18/12/2019 17:58

Everything is shrinking Sad I'm short and like to think maybe I'm growing Shock

ohwheniknow · 18/12/2019 17:59

Niknak?

SimonJT · 18/12/2019 18:00

Maybe you have huuuuuuge hands

ScreamingValalalalahLalalalah · 18/12/2019 18:03

I bought a packet of Cadbury's Giant Buttons a couple of weeks ago - DH and I found six normal-sized buttons in amongst the giant ones. YANBU.

Bigearringsbigsmile · 18/12/2019 18:03

I have, on occasion, found a shrunken wotsit in my pack. I would definitely contact customer services, if your whole bag were filled with shrunken ones - you may get a free bag or twoGrin

mrsbyers · 18/12/2019 18:12

I think they taste of vomit

Bigearringsbigsmile · 18/12/2019 18:13

Really? I think they are completely delish! Supermarket "cheese puffs" are but a cheap imitation.

Lordfrontpaw · 18/12/2019 18:17

I buy giant cheesy puffs in huge bags from a local Persian grocery shop.

They look like large luminous orange packing chips, and do dye your hands bright orange - and the Persians in my life look like this 🤢 when I buy them. I think it’s the equivalent of eating cheap pork scratchings.

Bluntness100 · 18/12/2019 18:20

Think they have been the same size for a long time.

Obligatorync · 18/12/2019 18:20

That's an absolute disgrace and could well, a few days later, have ruined Christmas.
YANBU.

ToPlanZ · 18/12/2019 18:24

Try the M and S own brand ones OP, mmm they give Wotsits a run for their money!

wellthatwasthat · 18/12/2019 18:26

Meddle with our snacks at their peril, that's what I say.

still haven't recovered from the Terry's chocolate orange debacle

Frumpymummytotwo · 18/12/2019 18:30

Definitely agree with the M&S version. Very tasty

HeronLanyon · 18/12/2019 18:32

No - they cannot mess with wotsits. Although if they brought out a second range a bit like Cheetos that could be rather wonderful.
Long live cheesy snacks.

HeronLanyon · 18/12/2019 18:33

There is little worse than a disappointing cheesy snack esp when you have bought a sharing bag.

Bigearringsbigsmile · 18/12/2019 18:37

Please tell all about the Terry's chocolate orange debacle! Consider it a civic duty.
