To ask about weighted blankets

I'm looking for two adult weighted blankets, and the prices are incredible. I haven't the skills to make them....

I appreciate they take time to make, and that's probably what the cost is mostly made up of.

Does anyone have any recommendations on where they bought theirs? Have they helped you in any way?

They vary quite a lot in price.

The better ones are more expensive because they have more compartments for the beads- the cheaper ones have fewer compartments and this means the beads can move around more and bunch up which causes heavy parts and it to slide off.

You could have a look on facebook or Ebay to see if anyone has finished one as most have washable exteriors

I got a mela one from amazon, it wasnt cheap but they had a 100 day trial and I ended up sending it back after a month - it was too hot for me

Could you not just buy a heavy blanket?
