I have the dreaded norovirus - only started this morning and I am not going to go to lo's nativity tomorrow morning as i am sure i'll still be contagious

I've said to a few people and some people have suggested i just go - surely that is a horrible idea? i'd hate to pass this on to anyone the week before xmas!

I am doing the right thing aren't i? Her nana and Daddy will both be there

Don't go! You will definitely infect people.

PlugUgly1980 · 17/12/2019 14:25

Completely sensible! Especially if she has other special people to watch her.

BlaueLagune · 17/12/2019 14:25

No don't go. Why on earth would people think that was a good idea?

ThePlantsitter · 17/12/2019 14:26

Aw, sorry for you to miss it. But yes don't go!

chellochello · 17/12/2019 14:27

You're definitely doing the right thing - If its full on norovirus you physically won't be able to go anyway.

She's got her nana and dad going so she's still got people there to support her - ask them to maybe try and get a little video of her

hope you're well for Christmas

PurpleDaisies · 17/12/2019 14:27

Definitely don’t go!

peachypetite · 17/12/2019 14:28

How will you even be able to leave the house with norovirus?

Crunchymum · 17/12/2019 14:31

Who the fuck is telling you to "just go" ?

Please do not go! Can anyone go in your place?

lauryloo · 17/12/2019 14:31

there is no way i'd physically be able to stay away from the toilet long enough to go as it stands!

Stock up on cakes and biscuits in preparation for the re enactment when they get home!!
I missed ds's singing last week due to school deciding to start early. I was waiting to be let in at the main door but nobody answered!! Fuming tbh!!
Made ds do it again when we got back!!

Crunchymum · 17/12/2019 14:32

Just seen that Dad and granny will be there.

NotSoThinLizzy · 17/12/2019 14:38

Get them to record it and lots of pics (if school allows it) reenactment when home. Hope you feel better soon.

ArthurMorgan · 17/12/2019 15:50

No don't go, my dd has just got over it. You really don't want to go and throw up (or worse)... And you'll infect other people at Christmas time!

CakeandCustard28 · 17/12/2019 15:53

Don’t go. People won’t thank you for it and it’ll ruin their Christmas. Your doing the right thing OP, thank you for considering others. Wish everyone was like you.

GaraMedouar · 17/12/2019 15:54

Don't go. You are totally right.

woodymiller · 17/12/2019 16:23

Don't go. Do you want to risk being known as "that Mum who spewed over an angel, the donkey and one of the kings" until your dc leave high school?

gothefcktosleep · 17/12/2019 16:36

Absolutely don’t go. Currently at home getting over it but toddler still has a dodgy run. It’d be horrible to pass it on.
