Another misheard Lyrics One

Is it U that I have only just discovered the correct lyrics to Whams Last Christmas?

I have all of my life believed there was a line which said 'Face of a lover with a foreigners heart' but have just found out to day it actually says 'A face of a lover with a fire in her heart'

Can actually not believe I've been getting wrong all these years!

Until this year I thought Fairytale of New York had the line calling her 'an old slut and juggler'. Always made sense to me somehow!

My misheard lyrics from 'Last Christmas' are 'crowded room, friends with tired eyes' - I always thought it was 'friends with tie dyes'. It made sense, it was the 80s!

Based on a thread running at the moment, I am starting to suspect that the line from Fairytale of New York that I've always thought was "you old Southern drunk" is something else entirely

I'm still convinced that Mariah sings "I don't want a life for Christmas "
