Vax/Bissel/Rug Dr - just about to impulse purchase - which one?

Dog has just run in from the waterlogged garden and got mud bloody everywhere - I am partly to blame tbf. Just sick of cleaning up paw prints constantly, so much so I'm going to just go buy a carpet cleaner right now. Cream carpets and a 6 stone dog are a bad combination.

It will probably make me less of a moody cow with the rest of the family.

I've looked up some reviews and the Vax Platinum Power Max Carpet Cleaner seems to be the best to go for but also tempted by
BISSELL ProHeat 2X Revolution Carpet Cleaner. If the rug dr (pro) was . by the best I would probably spend the money.

Would love to hear your experiences of carpet cleaners.

All I can suggest is get rid of the carpets and get laminate!

I have a vax platinum and it’s amazing !!!

I have a Vax, its not a platinum its a combination hoover/cleaner and its useless as at hoovering. I have only used the carpet cleaner function once.

Bissell!!!! Omg I love my bissell, i think i might cry the day it dies on me, it cleans sooooo well! Cream carpets here, 2 kids and a tree surgeon husband who drives me insane at times by forgetting to remove shoes!

Also recommend the carpet cleaning solution from screwfix, about £11 for 5 litre, I used to be a housekeeper in a hotel, made them buy me a bissell to clean carpets and that solution, worked a treat on carpets that hadn't been cleaned in I dont know how long!

go for the vax platinum one its brilliant and has the tools for furniture and stairs as well
