My 7 month old gets really fussy and cranky throughout the day and will only really stop when there’s music playing. It’s ok at home (although I am really fed up of listening to his songs- he’s very particular about what will keep him quiet) but when I’m out and about I don’t want to have to be constantly playing him music. You're pretty lucky to have something which you know will calm him down, tbh. Babies and toddlers love routine; just wait till you have to read the same book over and over again.
This too shall pass.
Btw, the one I had who was into music like this, has just completed his Music degree and is a professional musician with an album coming out in the Spring.
