My daughters knee's knock

So last week my daughter was shaking her knee and it felt like it was knocking- bone against bone. I can feel the knocking when my hand is on it. She can do it with both knees, feet flat on the ground. Has anyone heard of this. She has no pain, it's just strange. I can't make my knees do it can you?

Is she hypermobile by any chance?

Thank you for your reply. I don't think she is. It's so strange to feel the bones knocking together. My husband is talking to a physio tomorrow. Just wondering had anyone heard of it

My knees crack a lot when I move, it sounds like a hollow popping sound. I've got hyper mobility in all my leg joints. It isn't usually painful when the popping occurs, but I do get achy joints. If it's not bothering her shes probably fine.
