For work we park in a car park that has parent and child spaces.

There is no where else to park.

Some of us have had our cars damaged from other car doors.

A worker (who has recently had a bloody baby) parks in a parent and child space every bloody day (to avoid damage to her own car). I am senior to this person.

This really annoys me as it’s just wrong, and if she had her child with her she would probably be the first to complain. It’s really mean and some poor sod might not be able to strap their child in properly in a smaller space, but she thinks it’s funny.

I would have thought the management would forbid it.

My DIL worked for a supermarket, she had to get a pass for her car to be there for more than 2 hours (number plate recorded) and had to park at the least accessible end of the car park.

Can’t you just tell her not to?

I guess if damage has already been done to other cars I’d be pretty worried about mine getting damaged too. It’s a bit mean to think it’s funny for someone to have to struggle, and while it is a struggle to strap a baby/child in in a normal space, it is entirely possible so I’m not sure there’s much you can do, if you’re her superior can’t you report it to whoever runs the car park? They may have a fine system in place or ask her to move?

Who owns the car park?
