Easy Peelers

AIBU to think they’re not that easy to actually peel? They drive me mad.

Give me a fatsuma (fat satsuma- see what I did there?!) any day!

Agree. Dh brought some and I can't bloody peel them well. He just grabbed the net and didn't think.
I have a look at the best variety that look eaiser to peel. Ie a fatsuma

YANBU. I bought some “Easy Peelers” from Aldi recently, not only did the peel come off in about 87 pieces but I lost a nail in the process.

This is one of my bugbears. I give them a surreptitious squeeze and sometimes you can tell if the skin feels a bit loose.

I don’t understand them. Are they re-branded satsumas and if so why? I walk past them as they could alternatively be evil clementines. I just don’t know.

There’s nothing easy bloody peel about any of the ridiculous sodding things. Satsumas are far more reliable I agree.

Easy peelers give me the rage! I would never, ever buy them.

If they are labelled easy pellets they are often harder than bog standard ones. Avoid like the plague.

They’re not easy but I am addicted to them. I love to blend 3 with some Blueberries to make a delicious smoothie.

The only trouble with baggy fatsumas is they are often dried out and tasteless. It’s an orange fruit minefield at the moment!

The sweet ones sold for DC lunchboxes are nice.

Normal oranges or big pomelos are my favourites.

i think the easier they are to peel the less
delicious they are so ought to be avoided for that alone. i bought real oranges today though which i'll be eating in the shower.

They should be called “not very fuckin easy peelers” in my opinion!
