Periods after child birth

Hii all

Just after advice if anyone had the same

Gave birth 7weeks ago
Lochia stopped at week 4 then got a period at week 5 stopped 3 days ago at week 6 now week 7 bleeding heavy again

Is this normal to you or would I go doctors ?

Yep, really normal. As long as there's no clots larger than a 50p, you aren't really heavy and it smells normal then it's fine. Can take 6+ months to settle after birth.

I've had 3 children and haven't experienced this, so I'd want to discuss with the GP. Have you had your 6-8 week postnatal check yet?
