To ignore this pain?

I was carrying shopping bags earlier (I overloaded them with heavy things) and my foot slipped as I was walking down some stairs, I heard a grinding sound in my wrist and then went on with the rest of my day.

As the day as gone on my wrist has swollen and if I press the palm of my hand I get a shooting pain straight up my wrist, I can move all my fingers and make a fist but even when I'm not moving it the pain feels like a very slight throbbing.

I'm struggling to sleep because of it and I'm unsure as to what to do, I don't think it's broken as I can still move my hand fine.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I would phone 111. There's no harm and it might put your mind at ease. Also - better safe than sorry.
