To ask to see your Christmas decorations?

Been trying to get inspired by looking at Pinterest etc., but it's hard as its not real houses. Need new ideas as we've moved this year so never decorated this home. I know it's very outing but would love to see what you've done.

@Lex234 That's such a beautiful tree it's making me feel more Christmassy already. I think I'd like lots of twinkly lights around the house but not sure how to do it.

Just put a tree up by our front door!
It's my birthday tomorrow so wanted it looking nice for then.

Thank you sparrow, I like simple colour schemes so mine will be a bit boring compared to some! I wish I had stairs with spindles as I would wrap lights around those, my friend has hers around the top of her ceiling with nails to hold them up-she has gorgeous high ceilings to pull it off.

We have an extra small tree this year as it needs to be up high (don’t trust my toddler). I made a giant wreath out of a hula hoop to compensate (DP LOVES this naturally).
Awful photos and I’m too comfy with my gin to get up and take a proper picture of the wreath.

@Smashedavocados after one glass of wine, you would end up with an upside down Christmas tree and some very questionably positioned elves on your shelves, never could hold my drink 😂 Blush

All lovely but i love the toddler proof hula hoop idea , @Usernamesarenotmyforte 😊 I've gone ivy mad but slow to add the poinsettias 😅
