To ask how I find local candidates' voting records?

I want to see how my local election candidates voted on past issues, particularly Brexit, but only seem to be able to find this info for my current MP. Anyone know where I can find it please?

The other candidates won't have voted unless they have been MPs in the past which is why you can't find it

fromthefloorboardsup · 07/12/2019 10:58

They may have announced how they voted in the referendum but there won't be a record of it

YahBasic · 07/12/2019 10:59

Do you mean how they voted in parliament? Surely there can only be the information for your elected MP.

Fannydango · 07/12/2019 11:02

Oh. Now I feel like a complete idiot...

Don't worry about it, it's an anonymous forum! Smile

(I don't mean to imply I thought it was a stupid question, I didn't)

Don’t worry, my 35 year old sister, who has voted multiple times, rang me up to say her postal vote was wrong, because she couldn’t see Jeremy Corbyn, Boris Johnson et al on there, and wanted to know what mine said!

Fannydango · 07/12/2019 16:34

I knew what you meant @fromthefloorboardsup x
That does make me feel better, @YahBasic !

YahBasic, your sister has been watching too much American TV.
