To not want this desk space?

Probably very outing but i need some perspective. I work for an organisation which is sub-contracted by another organisation to work on their site.
We have an office on-site which is not the most glamorous but has been okay. Unfortunately there are rats on our site and they seem to have made their base under our office. There are tunnel entrances around the outside and we can hear them sometimes on the roof or in the walls. The host organisation decided to poison them which subsequently lead to them dying in the wall cavities leading to an overwhelming, putrid smell emanating from the wall vents. Our management said to the hosts that we would not be working in there until they removed the smell and also had an official report to say there was no health risk to us working in there. Of course this has not been done and we are still displaced.
This has been a very difficult situation to manage. Each day every member of the team is offered a different individual desk somewhere on the site. We have been instructed that we are only to occupy the desk we have been allocated. The problem here is that they are often impractical for the work we do (we have lots of files, require printer and scanner access and access for visitors) and it means our team is split up making things very challenging. This week i have been allocated the PA to the MD's desk as she is off sick. It is vile. I am isolated from my colleagues. Her desk space is set up per OH instructions and can not be altered making it incredibly uncomfortable for me. I feel incredibly unwelcome and I don't have easy access to half the things I need to do a decent job. Quite frankly I am not doing it tomorrow. There are other desk and office spaces available which would be much more practical and comfortable to me so I am going to find one of those and risk getting shouted at by the draconian manager who allocates the desk space and whose only justification for not allowing flexibility is because that's what she has said. So AIBU?
