Posting for traffic - I was doing some research for an interview I am attending. If I Google someones name on LinkedIn and view their public profile (but do not have a linkedin account and am not logged in) will they know I've viewed their profile? Also if my location is on and Gmail logged in on another tab is any of this tracked and picked up as an anonymous user?

You may not see their full profile if you aren't logged in. If you want to do this, better to set up an account and change 'profile viewing options' to 'Private'. This means they can see someone has looked at their profile, but not who.

They'll see that their page views have gone up (if they bother to check that), but can't identify you. If you were signed in then they would know you've looked them up.

Location and gmail are irrelevant here, but if you don't want to be tracked across the web then don't use these services. So it's more likely you'll see linkedin-related ads now you've visited, ever noticed the ads down the side on here are usually related to the thread?

I’ve just replied on your other thread. No, they won’t know.
