To be cross with DH?

He cooked tea tonight because I was on a late shift. Waffles and chicken drumsticks. Swears he didn't burn them, opened the windows, had the fan on.. Etc.. But the WHOLE bloody house STINKS of that burnt fat smell. What the actual hell did he do?!

Burnt them or there's something in the oven that's burn on.

My OH never puts the extractor fan on when he puts things in the oven. With all the doors open between rooms it makes the house stink.
