Endometrial ablation

Hi, has anyone had an endometrial ablation done? If so how was your recovery? I had it done a week ago and I’m still suffering with pain. Reading online it all seems to say it should only last a couple of days. So just wondering if anyone else has had this problem

My recovery was only a day or so but I had discharge for a couple of weeks. It was expected though.

I would go and see your GP

Is this a womb ablation? I had one last year and it was only sore for the first 24 hours.

I did (also had coil fitted). I bled for about two weeks and also developed an infection so had antibiotics. Days after I stared those, bleeding and cramping stopped plus all the infection symptoms went away. .

I recovered quicker than that. Would be worth you getting advice to check all is ok. Hope you feel better soon
