To think MN has got a bit hostile

So pretty clear what my thoughts are here, just seems that on a lot of threads there are some really rude comments saying things like 'are you just looking for validation' or similar things like essentially saying suck it up or get a grip.

Wondered if I'm being too sensitive or others have noticed too?

YANBU some of the comments I have seen are just really nasty, low and mean. I think instead of MN deleting their comments they should suspend their accounts

Like it or not, there hasn’t been a change.

Too many new posters post in AIBU for traffic.
Too many old posters see this as an indication that the thread is for a roust about.

Oh is it time for the perennial "MN is mean" thread?

AIBU can be harsher than the rest of the site. Having said that, I posted here when I had awful PND, anticipating a kicking, and got nothing but support and kindness.

The trouble is, that if you post a load of crap you'll get told you're posting crap and some posters dont like being told that the majority of posters think you're talking crap
