Another chest infection?

So I had flu in January, a chest infection in August (which never really cleared) going through suspected asthma checks and now I have what I suspect is another chest inection 😭😭.
Went to the go last week as I couldn't breath and felt a tad dizzy. My oxygen levels were ok and told there's a nasty virus going around. Since then I managed a 39 degree temp and now when I cough I can hear my chest/throat. I'm exhausted and so fed up of trailing back to the docs.

I really hope I can shift this before Christmas really kicks off, feel bad I'm not able to do more with the kids, it's so depressing. I usually love this time of year.

Oh no sorry to hear you are suffering. I hadn't had antibiotics for 11 years until the last month. I've had 2 chest infections. Seems when i get a cold it turns into one and it's never happened before. I really hope you feel better soon and get to enjoy Christmas, for now rest as much as possible Flowers

Thanks, ditto on the antibiotics. Been heathly as the preverbial pony up until this year and then - wham! Blooming awful year 🤧

Same here. Had a shocker of a cold at the beginning of October, which turned into a wracking cough and wheezy chest. This lasted 3 weeks. Was fine for 5 weeks, then unbelievably,I got another cold,a week ago. Again it's gone onto my chest. Bloody sick of it. I can normally go 2 or 3 years without getting a cough, and normally only get one cold every 18 months,or thereabouts. Certainly not 2 in 2 months.
