I say it one way, DH the other.
Both raised in the same town.
Which one of us is correct?

I'd always thought DH was wrong for unduly dragging out the syllables

Yes I would say sec-ret-ree but DH would say sec-ret-ary. As I say we were raised within a mile of each other. Dialect is so odd.
