Ok so I'm sure this has been done to death, but CBA to check. However I cannot be alone in abhorring the SM posts which display an uneaten meal, followed by an empty plate? Surely all you have managed to accomplish is eating a meal, which the rest of us manage on a daily basis. Do I really need to see photos with " yummy yummy in my tummy" as the caption Hmm

I think it's just to show a good looking meal and then that they enjoyed it. Can't get worked up

How about unfollowing people who do that? It can only make your life better.

My friends and I post pictures of meals because we’re all into cooking and we get ideas from each other. We don’t do the empty plate thing though. That’s a bit weird.

Each to their own I suppose 🤷There's no point in getting all worked up about it. If you don't want to see it, don't look but you can't police what other people post if it's not illegal or offensive or whatever.

I've never seen a sm post of an empty plate
