To think Ocado should get their act together!

Had a delivery booked for between 9-10pm tonight. Not only did they take out £17 more than what was stated on my receipt, but the driver just rocked up at 8pm! No text, no call, no postcard.. just turned up an hour early.

I’m usually a die hard Aldi and (don’t shoot me) Marks’ fan, but decided to give Ocado another go. Aibu to think they shouldn’t just rock up without asking first?!

I’ve never used Ocado but Tesco’s are no better, always late and when they came late yesterday I mentioned to the man that he was late and he just stared blankly at me! Didn’t even apologise

I'm surprised they've taken the payment already. It usually comes from my account hours after they turn up

I've never had this, just call ocado, tell the your not happy I'm sure you'll get a voucher and apology.

They have amazing Cs. And they always say their drivers are the face of the company..

@imaflutteringkite they actually deliver before taking payment? That’s a bit trusting of them.. @Comradesally I did email about the money, but I think I’ll give them a quick call. Thank you :)

I’ve never had them take the money before the order arrived. In fact, we’ve just switched our banking to an online bank and it’s only now that it’s going out the same day at all - it’s usually a day later at least.

They do sometimes turn up early, but have always called. The times I’ve had to say sorry, not there, they have just said it’s fine and they’d come at the correct time.

Mystery solved, I hadn’t ordered within the last 90 days so I had my card pre authorised for the amount and I got a lovely voucher for my early delivery. I take back my inking aibu 😂

Ocado are fab

I'd be happy to have them attempt an early delivery as long as they're happy to come back
