Quite pleased as they are more practical for rural life. DP won't mind too much I hope.

It's good that clumpy boots are in because that means there are more in the shops to choose from, but I don't understand how fashion trends or whether your DP might mind influences your wearing of practical footwear.

I'm not influenced too much but it's nice to be in fashion and practical at the same time. DP will get used to them.

I don't see what your partner has to do with it.
