Politics and religion

Am I be unreasonable in thinking that politics and religion should be kept separate?

I can't see how that could possible in any community, let alone country.

Religion and politics are hugely entwined throughout the world. Nothing divides people as much as religion.

Yes, I do - I think politicians should all keep quiet about their faiths, if they have them. God forbid we end up like America, where Christian posturing from politicians goes hand in hand with the most unChristian policies.
