Won a raffle

So, I'm back, needing advice and posting for traffic, more people on here. DB goes to a music thing every week. They had a raffle fundraising thing happening, he thought he'd be nice and buy a ticket. He likes the people that were fundraising, wanted to give money. He won the bloody thing and now we don't know what to do with the prize basket. He never wanted it, just brought a ticket cause he wanted to help. It's the usual mix of 1 really expensive thing, advertising, some good things, some nice things and then filler. He said after he brought the ticket that I'd get most of it. (yay) DM said to give it back since we have no need of most of it. He said tonight that he feels rude giving it back as they went to a lot of hassle to get the prize to him, and they would be all "why did you buy a ticket if you didn't want to enter" There are some things in there I would like, but if he gives it back it really should be a case of all or nothing right?

Sorry so long

He said you can have it, you want some of the stuff in it, what's the issue?

I wouldn't give it back. Can it not be used for Christmas? For gifts or for visitors when they pop round?

Enjoy the bits you want. Donate the bits you don't.

Or give it to a friend going through a difficult time? We won a Christmas hamper raffle one year and we were struggling a lot financially then, it made a huge difference to us.
