4 times a week

I see my boyfriend around 4 times a week. We don’t live together and have been together for 3 years. He tends to stay at mine 4 nights a week or sometimes more. We both work full time and I’m a single parent to my daughter.

Sometimes I don’t want him to come round because after a long day I just want to relax. I have a job which holds lots of responsibility and is emotionally draining. My boyfriend can be needy and at the end of a long day I just don’t have the energy. I do enjoy the time we spend together but I just don’t want to see him Everyday. Am I being unreasonable not wanting to spend most evenings with him ?! I feel bad. He likes to be able to come over whenever he wants.

YANBU, your a mother you've got to nurture your own wellbeing as well as your child's to ensure your able to sustain a healthy relationship with your boyfriend, if your constantly drained from always being around each other yous wouldn't enjoy each others company as much as when he gives you time away to refresh your self.

Tbh 4 days a week sounds ideal. You get the best of both worlds
