To be debating ethical dilemmas

While I am asleep?

Last night I dreamed I shot and killed a stranger, a hunter deep in a forest, just to see what it felt like. Confused I then hid the gun, and went home. There were no witnesses.
Then , in my dream, dh comes home, and suddenly I am all worried about if I should tell him or not.

To tell him means keep our relationship honest, and I'd want to know of he'd killed somebody. We have argued before about keeping secrets, so I'd really be a hypocrite.

On the flip side, the only way to keep a secret truly secret is to never let anyone know, as they could slip up. Also, he is very ethical in real life and would want to turn me in.

How weird is it to have that sort of dream? Also, should I have told him?

Gosh, interesting dream. I think you should have told him, despite the risk of him turning you in. You deserved to face up to the consequences of what you did, and if you didn't tell him the guilt would probably destroy you anyway.

I bet you were relieved when you woke up and realised it was only a dream!

Very reliving to wake up with no actual crime committed! I've never dreamed of killing before, man nor beast
