Quick lasagna recipes

All recipes I'm reading require cooking mince down for 1-2 hours? I mean cook mince, add tomatoes and wine, make white sauce, layer with pasta sheets. Shouldn't take longer than 30 mins right?

I mean I was thinking it would cook intensely in the oven anyways but what do i know.

I'm afraid good lasagne is not quick, at all. It's really simple, though, and doesn't require a huge amount of time actually cooking. Just cooking the bolognese for a long time (an hour seems reasonable. Once it's simmering just leave it, giving it the odd stir). Making a bechamel (takes 10/15 mins) and then 20 mins in the oven.

Trust me, if you take the time, you'll notice the difference.

If you want a quick mid week Iasagne. Iboil my lasagne sheets in bit oil and water. Already have a mince tom sauce made that has been in freezer that i slowed cooked. Put cooked lasagne on this. Use a add water morrisons cheese sauce. Grated cheese on top. Then grill. If doing it weekend will cook in oven and homemade cheese sauce.

I do a great veggie lasagne with fennel and squash which is quite quick.

But a proper meat lasagne does need to be cooked down properly.

Gordon Ramsay’s lasagna doesn’ T take that’s long and is great.
