The subject of many of my threads basically revolve around issues of lack of confidence in one way or another and the attendant problems this can cause. I almost expect to be pulled up on posting about very similar subjects. However given that the issue of lack of confidence can cause problems for many people I wouldn't mind this criticism in the sense that if people can benefit from advice given on posts in these kinds of threads then so much the better. I think it's important in that respect that these kinds of issues keep being posted about since people can face knocks to their confidence from workmates ,friends ,family etc .
But it did make me think -hypothetically - seriously if lack of confidence wasn't an issue for people and the threads on lack of confidence or where lack of confidence is essentially the cause of a problem even if not explicitly mentioned never existed - how many threads on AIBU/chat would be left??
