Did I hear right? I recorded the ITV debate between Johnson and Corbyn and just watched it. When Corbyn said that the effects of climate change adversely impact on the poorest people in the world I heard a member of the audience say "Here we go again!" Do some people actually want to see people starve and suffer?

No, they don't want to SEE it, that would be too much, they want to ignore it and pretend it's not happening. They are like the people persuading King Cnut he could hold back the sea. King Cnut knew it would overwhelm them; those slimy courtiers telling him how powerful he was, disagreed. Sound familiar? If only Trump/Boris and worshipful minions had the sense of King Cnut then we'd all be a lot better off. But I expect we have to wait until we're inches deep in water. Which some of us are already. Hope you haven't been affected.
