Not so much of an AIBU but more a request for some advice. DD came home from school yesterday and mentioned that she had nobody to play with during both breaks.
Her best friend was off school, but when she talks about normal days play bf always mentioned alongside a small group who are regulars. It's not the first time she's said something like this and I don't know what's best to suggest to her. She is 7. Apparently she went around asking to join in and all the groups said no their game was full.
I've explained to her in the past instead of asking if they want to play say hide and seek she asks if she can join in their game, but apparently she said that.
Best friend is lovely and I'm happy they are friends, but whenever she's off it seems like my DD gets ditched by the others. I've also noticed BF is invited to parties DD hasn't been invited to. What do you do? Whenever I go to parents evening the teachers say she's really sociable? She goes to after school activities and we do invite friends home.
