Teachers who know about dismissal procedure

Posting for traffic, sorry!

I’m being put through the disciplinary process at work. It’s all a storm in a tea cup and my union is very supportive and the rep is surprised it’s been taken this far. However, I know in the business world, you can be dismissed before 2 years without much effort. Is the same true of teaching? I’ve tried googling but without much success. I am just under the 2 year mark as started Jan 2018.

The 2 years is part of employment legislation. it applies to everyone.

You’d be much better off posting on the employment issues board.
