Spellcheckers that "DO" American

Why does the Mumsnet Spellchecker only do the American version of words?
Surely with all the support for leaving Europe that is here, you would expect the spellchecker to be British?

Does your spell checker not give the option of American English or Proper English?

There's a spellchecker here?! How do you get it? My spelling is awful and I take ages looking things up before posting.

It will be your computer not Mumsnet.
European English will use British spelling.
