Neighbour DIY noise

It's every weekend, every evening and it's driving me insane. I want to shove his hammer where the sun doesn't shine.
We are semi/detached.
AIBU in thinking there should be an evening curfew so I can enjoy my property after a long day at work. What time is do you think he should lay down his tools?

9pm sounds reasonable to me

I would probably say nothing before 7/8am and nothing after 9/10pm?

11pm according to Gov website unless it is breaking decibel levels

Is it unreasonable to ask your neighbours to stop sanding at 8.30 pm on a weekday
