When we see the In laws my FIL is always trying to get my kids to speak to granny. Only granny has never shown any interest in them at all. I have tried to get her to spend time with them (not babysitting) but doing something together whilst I am there (like baking).
I am annoyed as FIL seems to have rosy tinted glasses on and I think he can't see that she is not interested.
I am fine with it, as they aren't interested back either. It annoying though everytime we see them my kids are had a go at for not performing.
